Kylian Mbappe stressed that he and his fellow Paris Saint-Germain strikers Lionel Messi and Neymar must improve after their humble start to the season with the French Ligue 1 club.
Mbappe is giving a great performance, but Neymar is struggling to reach his level, while Messi has not adapted to the team since joining this season from Barcelona.
"We know we have to do more," Mbappe said in an interview with Thierry Henry broadcast on "Prime Video" on Sunday. When asked about the team's attacking lack of balance and not cooperating well with others, he replied: We need to do something to ensure that we don't lose cooperation with the rest of the players both defensively and offensively.
Paris Saint-Germain leads the league, 11 points ahead of Stade Rennes, the second-placed.
